Development Team Manager Dom Walsh:

The┬áconditions weren’t ideal but I thought our lads were very impressive. There have been some really strong messages put out on the training ground and we are putting them into practice brilliantly at the moment. We showed a lot of quality in possession and created a lot of clear cut chances, and really we should have been better in the final third. Our discipline and shape out of possession was equally pleasing. We’ve still got a lot of work to do and plenty to improve on as a team, but the vast number of younger players stepping up from the youth team and under 16’s is a great example of the potential progression for players within the club.
